Proofreading by a native speaker

Proofreading is carried out by native speakers for the applicable language. The proofreader will correct the grammar and style of the translation. The purpose of the proofreading by a native speaker is to ensure the stylistic accuracy of the text. Proofreading is usually conducted on texts intended for publication.

Most frequent texts for proofreading
  • websites, advertising texts, catalogues, brochures, leaflets, presentations of companies, contracts etc.
Proofreading by a native speaker is recommended
  • a) for texts to be published in the media, on the internet or printed in a large number of copies
  • b) for texts intended for the use by native speakers

When assigning the text, we recommend telling us the nationality of the native speaker for whom the translation is intended. The reason is the best possible use of the target language versions (e.g. British vs. American English, Spanish vs. South-American Spanish).
